AirParrot

The Squirrels-developed AirParrot, software that works with any PC, Mac or Chromebook, puts AirPlay screen mirroring functionality at your disposal. This means that by using AirParrot you can view your PC’s screen on your Apple TV. You can wirelessly stream movies, music, or photos from your PC to your Apple TV.

As mentioned above, AirParrot works with any PC, Mac or Chromebook. This means that it is available for Windows, OS X, and Chrome. Focusing on Windows alone, it must be added that AirParrot is available as an installer for 32-bit Windows editions and as an installer for 64-bit Windows editions. Installing AirParrot on a Windows PC is an effortless task that will take little time and a minimal amount of effort.

AirParrot is not free, it is only free to try. Whenever you launch AirParrot, a Welcome dialog will show up and will tell you how many days are left in your trial. The Welcome to AirParrot dialog will also provide useful information about the functionality AirParrot has to offer. It tells you that AirParrot uses the built-in AirPlay feature on your Apple TV, that once AirParrot is installed your PC will work like any other AirPlay device, that you can access AirParrot from the taskbar, and that you can instantly share content from your PC to your Apple TV.

Reflector is another Squirrels-developed tool – it allows you to wirelessly mirror your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your PC or Mac. I bring this up because you can use AirParrot to mirror your screen to a computer that runs the Reflector tool.

Forget about cables. With AirParrot you can wirelessly stream media from your PC to your Apple TV. You can even mirror your screen to another PC, one that runs the Reflector tool.
